Yes, fella's, we are proud to report the results from a massive day of development testing. We have finally reached our Factory M90 Supercharged V6 S/C dream goal of 300kW Unopened! It's official, we have near on 300kW at the Flywheel from an unopened M90 Supercharged V6 with an array of FIT's finest products.

The modification list includes:

• FIT Intercooler
• Generic Bolt-on 3" Exhaust
• Kalmaker Tuning

• FIT Machined down Snout
• FIT Ported M90 Supercharger
• FIT 19psi Pulley

• Funnily enough wasn't actually a Commodore - but a Hilux !!

Nigel has never been afraid of "pushing the envelope" ... even though he already had 264kW he keeps joking asking ... "Where's my 300kW?"

Nigel: "what have you got coming up in the Secret Development Agenda... and when can I have it?"

FIT: "well we've got this Ported Blower System, Machined Down Snout and 19psi Pulley System coming up"

Nigel: "I want it"

FIT: "it doesn't exist yet it's still being developed"

Nigel: "I want it, when can I have it?"

FIT: "you'll be the 1st to know when it's available."

Anyway, enough of the ramble... as it turns out the FIT Calais required it's long overdue Transmission Oil and Filter Service and long awaited Billet Servo Upgrade. When we called to confirm the appointment Nigel again asks: "Where's my Ported Blower, Where's my 19psi pulley, Where's my machined down snout and where the hell is my 300kW!?"

Although this had all been a long running joke by now, we actually caught Nigel off guard and said ... "we're bringing it down to try on your Hilux"

He thought we were joking at first, but then he realised we were serious and started to get excited. We never promised him 300kW, and mentioned we don't even know if we'll make 280kW, but hey we'll give it a go. Nigel wasn't at all afraid to be the first to officially test out the complete Series of Limited Edition Secret Product Developments, even though untried and untested, with the possibility of failure or destruction, he wanted it on his engine.

With 4.11 Diff Gears and LSD rolling start from 70km/h in 2nd Gear he nailed it and the thing just wheel spun and skipped out the tail all the way to 120km/h. OK, we knew there was definitely some extra grunt underfoot, so it was time to head off to the dyno. We reached Port Kennedy Dyno - Flamefront in around 30mins drive. Eagerly waiting in anticipation we set the car up, strapped it all down and paced the hallway awaiting the Doctor's result.

• 1st Run 282rwhp!
• 2nd Run 286rwhp!

3rd Run 296.5rwhp! AWESOME !

We figured with a bit more tweaking and tuning it would break the 300rwhp barrier, but it wasn't to be, subsequent runs reeled off 288rwhp, 286rwhp and then we figured the engine was starting to get too much heat soak so we left it at that for the day. Noting this Hilux DOESN'T have EXTRACTORS and has a big power zapping Ford 9" Diff, and the run was done in high loading Shoot-Out Mode 6F in 3rd gear ... it definitely would run 300rwhp if we allowed it to cool overnight.

So it's as good as official, our Projected Power Plan Dream Horsepower Goal of 300kW UNOPENED has definitely been reached! We were intending on the FIT Calais being the first to set this new standard, but hey as always our customers come 1st!

We will definitely be installing this complete combination on the FIT Calais in around 3-4weeks time, once we've had the chance to check the ported M90 down the Motorplex without the intercooler first up. Then we will get straight into putting on the serious stuff!

We have driven cars with much more on-paper Power that don't invoke as much of an Accelerative Thrill Ride as this combination does. Let us tell you this package is Very Impressive and Very Deceptive. Mainly attributed to the way in which the Torque is delivered in such abundance and so rapidly in the bottom end it’s just incredible how such a simple Bolt-on array of components delivers so much punch!!

The Torque is just absolutely GUT WRENCHING!! ... From 2,200rpm the full force of Torque is unleashed at an astounding rate and the tyres frantically squirm for grip. Even on light Throttle applications the accelerative pull is enough to keep you firmly pinned back in your seat.

Not since the Almighty Turbo Test Mule have we been so inspired and impressed by an engine combination package that Truly Impresses and Inspires. The Power Delivery and Absolute Masses of Torque released from this beast will have you reliving and talking of the experience for many days after...!!

This Hilux will easily reel of low 12's without even trying!!
