"I was a bit skeptical about the merits of fitting the top part of the Type “S” CAI conversion because to me it did not seem possible to get any gains from it. So I decided to drive around for a couple of days with only the bottom half done. I was happy with the extra induction and supercharger sound and I still only have the standard 6 psi pulley. Last night I completed the top half installation and to my surprise I can definitely hear more air being sucked in from the supercharger and the overall throttle response is excellent. It is obvious that the whole conversion procedure must be carried out to receive full benefits of the Type “S” CAI. You have a great product there and keep up the good work!"

"Well I finally threw in the towel and decided to do up the VX to it's upmost by jumping on the Intercooler trail. Difference over stock is off the scale and this is without a tune yet. I'd just like to say a big thankyou to the FIT boys Daz & Tony who came over yesterday and installed everything without any hassles and a few laughs along the way. I can't recommend the Intercooler and Boost Upgrades highly enough. The Supercharger Induction Whine is amazing and between the harmony created from my exhaust and intake I haven't bothered putting the stereo on and probably wont for a long while to come. "Got my 10psi pulley today - fitted it without to much drama. How's the car go? Unreal, the car feels so much more responsive, I have no other mods at this stage. "With the wealth of information on the FIT website as well as their forum, it has given me a great understanding of what can be achieved through a stock supercharged 6 engine with bolt on mods. This was one of the deciding factors as to why I sold my Ecotec and bought a supercharged 6. 5 months down the track and the car has now been FITted up with an abundance of bolt on mods which includes a 10psi pulley, 1.9:1 higher ratio roller rockers, 81° thermostat as well as the Type S CAI. It has increased the supercharger whine dramatically. This has culminated, together with extractors, twin exhaust and a Haltech Interceptor (tuned by the great people at Jake's Performance), in an impressive 176.9rwkw or roughly 237rwhp, Jake was even surprised at the power and had to call Tony to confirm! Tony and the people at FIT are by far one of the easiest and best people/company to deal with. The easiness of installing the mods yourself are gob smacking through their well detailed instructions and their before and after sales service is second to none! "Hey guys, I took the VT out last Wednesday night to WISID - my best time for the night was a 11.98 @ 112mph with a 1.6 60ft. The car has a MAFF-less tune, an FIT intercooler, 3.73 diff gears LSD and around 15-16 psi boost and was on M/T Drag Radials. I still have a bit of work to do on the tune by setting up shift points and niggly things like that so I can see 11's very easily Just thought I'd let you guys know the improvement from the FIT cooler before cooler 14.5 after cooler 12.4 and now 11.9sec. I'm well stoked with this achievement and thank FIT for the A2A Intercooler which made it all possible !!"

"Well I have finally installed my new rockers on Saturday, and there were no glitches. They seem to be settling in very well, and after the initial 10sec noisy startup (I'm putting that down to the oil is now back up top of the engine, as I hadn't started it for a week) the rockers are now as quiet as the original factory set. I haven't fully tested them yet, and after only done about 50km travel on them I'm already starting to notice some improvements. During the week ill start to go back to my normal driving style and see what she can really do! Thank you for your Quick Professional replies and Speedy Ordering Process. I definitely will be coming back to FIT in the future to get some more go-fast bits."

Hi Tony, I just wanted to leave you some feedback on the 3" cat back exhaust with quieter rear resonator I received yesterday. Firstly I would like to say that I am extremely happy with the sound & tone of this system. There is absolutely no drone whatsoever at any RPM or load conditions which is amazing for a 3" system, and the warm deep sound is just incredible. I am equally impressed with how much power was unleased from my car with no loss in bottom end power. Mods to the car include CAI, K&N filter, 10 psi pulley, 1.97's, pacemakers and now the 3" cat back. Keep up the great work!

"my car started off as a stock 99 vt s/c Calais , I was going to sell it and get something faster but then I cam across yellaterra upgrade I was going to get it 100% but then I started to hunt a round on the net and see how much power guys were getting, and well I came across F.I.T's website and I realised the YT upgrades didn't even get near them of FIT, so on the phone I got I rang and rang but no answer I was like cut bad as I had the need for more power or a new car, the next day I get a call from Tony ( it was public holiday in WA!) he rang whist I was walking down the road a few k back to work after selling a car and the dude couldn't give me a lift, after about a 30 minute talking I knew this guy was true blue and knew the ins and outs of the super 6. On Thursday lunch I got the 1st half of the package containing the 1.9 rockers, I waked them on that arvo down the road I goes, it seem to go a bit better but nothing over the top, but as I drove around 100km the computer seem to learn and it was a big change the mid range power, I went round the dyno shop next mooring before work and my stock supa6 pulled 184rwhp with the 1.9 rockers which I was happy with as my motor has done 180 000km On Friday I received the heavy boxes with the cooler and plate in it. It took me about 8 hrs to complete with very helpful instructions, colour pictures every step of the way it was to easy. I hit the key and I almost fell over from the sound, it sounded like a full blown drag car, I couldn't lock up the workshop fast enough to take it for a spin. I go out the freeway and give it "what for", but was just wheel spinning, so I get up to a healthy 120kms and nail it again somewhere round the 160kms mark still spinning I backed off as I was little scared :( The next day it was sunny and I could make use of the full power and well it was like a new car couldn't wait to get it on the dyno to see the gain, I was making 215rwhp that was a gain of over 40rwhp over a stock super 6, Un-tuned with the power backing off at 4500 rpm due to the knock sensors, there was a load more power to come out of it yet as I still had the factory manifolds and exhaust. I fitted extractors and a redback system, I go to dyno again and making 229rwhp and the power was still coming off at 4500rpm, so I booked it in for a kalmaker tune, in the mean time I had been chatting to Tony and he spoke of a Trail 19psi pulley and machined down snout, instantly I wanted it, so I put off the tune and got hold over an other snout to get machined down so I could still have the use of my car, after I fitted the 19psi pulley I went back to the dyno just to see what was going on, it made 230hp but was sadly in need of a tune as it was now backing the power off at 4000, I'm booked in for a tune on the 25th and I can't wait to see the out come. Still un-tuned running 19psi, if just stand on it off the light I can do a 100mt power burnout well into 2nd gear with 225 18's"

Day 1 "I'm just confirming that I received the pulley upgrade kit and completed the installation - no dramas at all. It worked out quite well and was easy once the tool supplied was assembled. I spent more time assembling the tool than the installation. The pulley came off quite easily. On the performance side of things, there is a noticeable improvement. Honestly I expected it to light up the rear tyres of the mark but not quite. If it's stalled up it does it easily when you launch. Did a test run 0-100kmh it's around the 6.8 second mark in pwr mode auto shifting on its own. I guess the next upgrade for me would be cat back exhaust then replace the factory headers and see how it goes from there. Being a brand new VY Commodore with only 2800 kms on the clock I guess it still needs to loosen up. Overall I am happy with the increase in performance but as always we always want more. Once again thanks for all your assistance with the purchase and I would be more than happy to do business with you guys once again. Vehicle Specs: Late 2003 VY Series II, Pulley only no other mods" Day 2 "Once again thanking you and your team at FIT for a great product. As mentioned previously, the installation went well without any issues or problems. The results are getting better as I continue driving my vehicle. ECU must be still learning its new operating parameters with the new pulley installed. "I heard about F.I.T. from a fellow Supercharged V6 owner, when I was shopping for my car. After going through their products on their web site, the V8's were scratched off my shopping list. In my first call to F.I.T. they answered all my questions about their products. They were honest, and extremely helpful. When I placed my order the delivery time was brilliant. They are definitely very customer focused. Their 10psi pulley upgrade kit proved to be great bang for the buck, and is of the highest quality. I haven't been able to prove the power increase at the track or on a dyno yet, but the extra power is obvious when driving, and we all know, stock, these motors don't lack any power. The process is so simple, and the highly detailed instructions ensure that anyone that knows which end of a spanner to use, can make this very worthwhile change. "I was very impressed by your interest and support through my upgrades, and your commitment to the product, and in the end, the results have come through. As you know I got 221.6 HP finishing up at Dan's, but that only tells part of the story. Power across the revs is heaps better and goes out longer – it’s a totally different car now. Had a ball at MC's yesterday morning and then went to the Motorplex in the afternoon. Got a PB of 14.33, and that was on Wanli's, a decent set of tyres and fine tuned launches and I think there is at least another couple of tenth's in it. So the results are on the board, both on the dyno and down the ¼ mile."

"Got my Heat Shield from FIT the other day (Cheers Tony) and fitted it yesterday. First things first, it's a top quality product and would highly recommend it to everyone! Previously to fitting the heat shield, i noticed that the intake pipe would get so hot that you could not touch it for any longer than about 3 seconds on the underside before you'd burn yourself. With the heat shield fitted, it's significantly cooler after a decent drive."

"After already having received a substantial improvement in power from fitting the 10psi Pulley Kit and 1.9:1 Rockers I was quite happy with the power and performance of my Supercharged VX 's' Pack. I managed a best of 14.124 sec @ 99mph at the Kwinana Motorplex and was quite happy with the result. When you guys finally released your much awaited FIT Air-to-Air Intercooler to the market, I knew I just had to get one! Let me tell you, it's by far the best move I ever made. The power is just incredible - without even having to fully push my foot down the power and torque improvements are just tremendous. If I want to I can plant the foot at any speed in 1st gear and just smoke the tyres silly. There's no way I'll ever get bored of this amount of power!! A quick update: I just took it to the Kwinana Motorplex ¼ mile track and recorded a 13.108 sec @ 104mph - I couldn't believe it. What a difference! I am so stoked and to drop 1 full second off my ¼ mile time, and I know with a swap from the standard 3.08 open centre diff to 3.45 LSD diff will definitely guarantee me a mid 12 sec pass! I am so content with my FIT performance products package. I've gained more than 100kW over the standard output of 171kW to take me to 276kW and dropped my ¼ mile time from 15.3 sec Standard to 13.1 sec, a full 2.2 sec drop, and you can definitely feel it on the road. I hardly ever have to put my foot right down anymore to get accelerating rapidly. Incidentally and strangely my fuel economy has remained the same if not improved all the way along the process of increasing my power."

I have recently had new extractors and twin system exhaust fitted which gave good results, but the boost increase has just just topped it off.
